Tulane and Loyola sit side by side on St. Charles Avenue across from Audubon Park, in a residential neighborhood with almost no visitor parking on an ordinary day, let alone during commencement. UNO's lakefront campus and arena have more space but a limited number of roads in and out. Xavier and Dillard are compact campuses where lots are reserved early. Large ceremonies are sometimes held at arenas or stadiums off campus, so send us the venue named in the university's instructions rather than the campus address.

Work backwards from the time guests must be seated, which is usually well before the procession. Add a cushion for traffic near the venue, and decide where photos will happen afterwards.
