The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center stretches along the Mississippi riverfront on Convention Center Boulevard, at the edge of the Warehouse District and a short ride from the hotels of the Central Business District. From MSY the drive is about 14 miles, usually 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic on I-10 and the Pontchartrain Expressway. On the opening morning of a large show that last half mile can take as long as the rest of the trip, which is why we ask which hall you are heading to.

The convention center's halls are lettered in sequence along the boulevard, and the distance from one end to the other is a genuine walk. Tell us the hall or the entrance named in your event materials and the chauffeur will use the closest drop-off. On move-in days Convention Center Boulevard fills with freight and shuttle buses, so exhibitors carrying samples or display cases should allow extra time and consider an SUV or Sprinter for the cargo room.
For arrivals at MSY, we monitor the flight and meet you at the curb or in baggage claim. Domestic arrivals include 45 minutes of complimentary wait and international arrivals 60.
Most convention hotels are along Canal Street, Poydras Street and in the Warehouse District, close enough to be quick and far enough to be unpleasant on foot in summer heat or a downpour. We run morning and evening transfers, take groups to client dinners in the French Quarter, Uptown and the Garden District, and bring everyone back on a schedule you set. An hourly booking keeps one chauffeur with your party for the evening.
Meeting planners can book airport arrival and departure manifests, VIP cars and evening transportation under a single reservation. Send us flight lists and we will group arrivals sensibly by time and terminal exit, assign vehicles, and provide a dispatch contact for day-of changes. Sprinter vans, limousines and event bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 12 hours before pickup, which gives planners room to adjust as manifests change.
